Practice
Relational work to support lasting change.

At some point, the work becomes relational. Understanding the pattern is one part, changing it requires a different kind of contact.
The same mind that helped organise the pattern is now trying to observe it. It brings the same blind spots, the same explanations, and the same ability to make sense of things while the cycle keeps running underneath.
An outside perspective brings something new into the system. It helps make visible what is hard to see from inside and keeps it visible long enough for something real to be worked with.
Why this kind of coaching
Relational coaching for compulsive behaviour and addictive patterns - built on first-hand experience, professional training, and a structural understanding of what creates lasting change.
This is not clinical treatment. And while the work is informed by education and clear concepts, coaching is not simply an educational programme. It works through recognition, attention and relationship.
First-hand experience matters here, not as a badge, but because it creates a quality of recognition that knowledge alone cannot provide. The coach knows the territory from the inside: the negotiation, the hidden logic, and the moments where something almost opens before it reorganises into explanation, control or avoidance.
The client remains in the driver’s seat throughout. What is discovered from within lands differently than insight delivered from the outside. That is why this work is relational. A second person outside the system can help hold what becomes visible long enough for something real to be seen.

the foundation
of the work
Coaching reaches places most conversations never touch. It asks for a relationship where what is actually true can be said - without judgment, performance or a preset agenda. Each session is prepared with care, met with full presence and followed by genuine reflection. The session is the visible part; the depth of attention around it is what makes the work highly impactful.
What is discussed in sessions is treated with full confidentiality. This is the foundation that makes transformative work possible: the space to speak honestly, without the fear of exposure or unnecessary fall-out. The coaching agreement explains confidentiality in full, including any legal or safety-related limits, and should be read carefully before making a decision.
Professional training as a Certified Professional Recovery Coach and Certified Master Life Coach, Stanford study of the psychology of addiction and recovery, an TUDelft MSc, an INSEAD MBA and building upon an international career across nine countries. This brings together cultural awareness, analytical rigour, lived experience and professional structure in the coaching.
Recognition
There is a difference between studying the territory and having had to find your way through it. First-hand experience with substance-based and process-based patterns brings a recognition training alone cannot create: how complex, contradictory and unclear this can feel from the inside. It leaves room for shame, confusion and the nonlinear path toward clarity without forcing the experience into a framework.
work together
Addiction coaching online - what the first session looks like and how the work is structured.
Our work starts with Session One: a prepared, truthful conversation with space to look at what is actually happening, followed by reflection and feedback.
From there, the rhythm is shaped around what you deem helpful. Some people start more intensively when something is moving, then slow down as things settle. Others prefer a steady rhythm from the beginning. Or pause and return. We adapt to what becomes visible and what needs attention.
